Символы моей России в формате ОГЭ

Каждое государство имеет свои символы. К основным государственным символам относятся государственный флаг, государственный герб, государственный гимн. Все граждане Российской Федерации должны знать историю своей страны, символику своей Родины, ее традиции. Данная методическая разработка является неотъемлемой составляющей патриотической работы, проводимой объединением учителей английского языка. Целью занятия является составление монологического высказывания с активизацией полученных в ходе урока знаний о государственных символах России, закрепление сформированных представлений о формате основного государственного экзамена (ОГЭ) в 9м классе. Необходимо отметить, что для проведения данного занятия используется технология «перевёрнутого класса»: накануне занятия учащиеся получают домашнее задание – аудиозапись трудных для произнесения слов и небольшой текст для перевода.

Ход занятия:

Учитель приветствует учащихся. Создаёт положительный эмоциональный настрой на урок и доброжелательную атмосферу: - Good afternoon, dear students. I`m happy to see you at our English lesson. How are you today?

Учитель помогает учащимся включиться в речевую деятельность, подводит учащихся к открытию темы урока (предлагая рассмотреть картинку на слайде), ставит перед учащимися проблемную задачу, подводит учащихся к формулировке цели и способов ее достижения: - Have a look at the picture, please. What can you see in the picture? Is the girl happy? Why? ...Yes, you are right. This girl probably is experiencing certain problems with the exam. By the way, is she doing a written part of the exam or an oral one? Why? What advice would you give to a person who has some problems with the oral part of the English exam?

Учитель предлагает вспомнить формат устной части основного государственного экзамена: How many stages are there in the oral part of the English exam? What do you have to do at every stage of the Exam?

Учитель проверяет домашнее задание: As part of your homework, you had to learn the pronunciation of some English words. Look at the board and pronounce the words from your homework: sickle, horizontal, symbolic, nobility, loyalty, bravery, double-headed, eagle, tricolor,

Учитель предлагает учащимся выполнить первое задание устной части основного государственного экзамена:

You are going to read the text aloud. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, and then be ready to read it aloud. Remember that you will not have more than 2 minutes for reading aloud.

The flag of Russia has a long and interesting history. The first Russian flag was use in the 16th century. It was a white flag with a double-headed eagle. In the 18th century Peter the Great changed the flag to a tricolor with red, white, and blue stripes. This design was used for over 100 years. In 1922, the Soviet Union was formed and a new flad was created, it was a red flag with a hammer and sickle symbol. After the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Russia adopted a new flag. This is the flag we know today, with three horizontal stripes of white, blue, and red. Each stripe has its symbolic meaning, the top-white colour means nobility, the middle blue colour means loyalty, and the bottom-red means bravery.

Учитель предлагает учащимся выполнить втрое задание устной части основного государственного экзамена: As part of your homework you had to read about the Russian anthem. This homework will help you to cope with the second part of the oral exam. This part will include questions about the Russian flag and the Russian anthem. Work in groups and answer the questions.

Учащиеся в группах отвечают на вопросы учителя. Можно заранее записать эти вопросы на аудионоситель и включить запись, делая паузы после каждого вопроса:

1. When is the Flag Day celebrated in Russia?

2. What are the colours of the National Flag of Russian Federation?

3. Who is the сomposer of the Russian anthem?

4. Who wrote the lyrics of the Russian national anthem?

5. Did our country use to have any other national anthems in the last 100 years?

6. What would you advise to a person who wants to learn the words of the Russian national anthem?

Учитель предлагает учащимся перейти к выполнению третьего задания устной части основного государственного экзамена: The only symbol that we have not talked about yet is the Russian coat of arms.

You can see the text about the Russian coat of arms. This text has some gaps. Work in pairs and complete the gaps with one word.

На слайде текст: The Russian coat of arms ___ a golden double-headed eagle on the red field. Above the eagle’s heads there ___ three crowns symbolizing the sovereignty of the Russian Federation. The eagle is holding a scepter and an orb which ____ the old symbols of the state power and unity. In the centre of the coat of arms you ___ see a horseman striking a dragon. The horseman is Saint George, who is considered _____ the saint patron of Russia.

Учащиеся составляют монологическое высказывание в формате ОГЭ, задание 3 устной части, используя информацию, изученную на занятии.

You are going to give a talk about the Russian symbols: 1) What are Russia’s state symbols? 2) What does the coat of arms symbolize? 3) When is the anthem sung? 3) Why is it important to know the state symbols of your motherland?

В качестве домашнего задания учитель предлагает составить монологическое высказывание с опорой на вопросы:

As a home task, I would like you to give a talk and answer the following questions: When are the Russian symbols used? Where can you see the Russian symbols? What is your attitude to the Russian symbols?
